Default TV Show Pickers

Great show called American Pickers on Monday on the History Channel. Two guys (pickers) in Iowa go out and pick through another mans junk. The stuff they find, and occasionally cars and bikes. A must see for the car guy (us) looking for that needle in a hay stack find.

LOVE this show. Great stuff they find.

Pawn Stars is entertaining as well.

i like the guy in that one episode with the little car ride.
he told that guy from the show his stuff isn't for sale, and just stood there, with that crazy grin on his face.

i think they just wanted to get the hell out of there fast.

I figure it's all staged, or at least reenacted after the fact... I doubt you'd get too many good deals if you showed up with a full camera crew shooting footage from 7 angles while you negotiated a deal. Fun show to watch though.

Joe, I'm shocked! You don't 'believe' Reality TV?

I stopped in at Pawn Stars last week. They had a gaurd at the door and you had to wait your turn before going in. It looks like any other Pawn shop, bunch of Jewelery and junk. I did see the old man at his desk. I can say I was in there and thats about it.
