#97. This COPO Camaro is N647855 and was sold new at Berger in Grand Rapids MI. This was advertised as being a numbers matching 4 speed car. This is also a double COPO car which I believe all but one of the Berger Camaro's were.

#98. This is ZL-1 #53 and it was sold by Robert Lyle Chevrolet in Cuyahoga Falls OH. This is an X44D80 car that was ordered with Rally wheels and an M22. This is not a numbers matching car and there were pictures of it as a tubbed race car so I'm not sure how much of the sheet metal is original to the car either. It appeared to be an older restoration.

My COPO Chevelle came from Lyle. I had heard that a ZL-1 did as well. Cool to see this car.

I have been in contact with one of the salesman from the day. I should ask him about this one, probably a memorable car going through the dealership. He did not remember my car; he said the dealership had 40 high perf cars on the lot at any given time. They were catering to the guys coming home from Vietnam that had some money in their pockets and wanted to go fast.

They may have been on the lot together, how would you pick?

Be advised that numbers match does not mean original engine.
