Just had the car on the chassis dyno this weekend.

499 RWHP
515 RWTQ

Gotta make a driveshaft loop and get to the strip.

I had to revisit the nova this year. Have not driven it much due to a bad clutch slave cylinder. Due to the style of the slave (Kiesler) the trans and bellhousing have to come off together. That means removing the engine. Sooooooo......................

I went with a American Powertrain slave. got everything shimmed up properly. Milled the flanges to the headers (had a leak since day one), lashed all of the valves again, cleaned everything up and ready to go back in. Bought myself a new aluminum radiator that I need to make some new brackets for the fans to keep this thing a little cooler. Also purchased some bulk battery cable from Detroit Speed to make some new cables (NICE PRODUCT!)

Big thanks to Jim Kilpatrick! Would not take a dime from me for fixing the header flanges. I do fear a bar bill in the near future!

Going to spend some time today to slide the engine and trans back in. Perhaps a little assembly and a few birthday beers.

Tim

If I was smart I would have used the Church Boys set-up like you did rather than going with the Heidt's Garbage..........
