Bill -- when I bought my 70 Z28 new at Doc Stewart Chev in Clovis NM ... it ran pretty strong. In fact, I took it to Ernie Walker's Amarillo Dragway (3683' altitude) and raced in in B/PS under NHRA rules. At one time I held both ends of the record at that track -- 13.88 @ 104.22 ... factory Goodyears and thru the exhaust. I didn't think that was too bad considering the altitude, etc. Craig

Default Z

I had an original 1970 RSZ with 9600 miles on it sold it in 2006
It was an M21 - 4:10 car - it ran fantastic! But I had to buy 100 octane leaded fuel by the
5 gal Pail at the local motorcycle shop. This car is more streetable it uses 93 unleaded
Which I can get right around the corner at a gas station - there are a lot of boats in the area here and they need non-ethanol fuel- that is all I put in this car and it runs great.

Yes it was classic copper with white stripes, black custom cloth interior and AM FM radio- only 2 speakers one front , one rear . Loved that car- it’s in a big private collection now .
