Default SCR18 special honoree

As we approach SCR18, it is with great pleasure I announce this year’s honoree. None other then the Mayor of Donahue, Iowa, MR. Ken Schoenthaler.

As an original owner of a Deuce, Ken’s involvement in our hobby goes back to day one. Besides owning a Deuce(s), he has been involved in the restoration side of our hobby, a judge at supercar events, a willing participate in discussions pertaining to the build and restoration of supercars, helped numerous individuals become Deuce owners, and last but certainly not least, a goodwill ambassador for our hobby.

Great news Tom...Ken , Becky and the family ...are great people with generous hearts. Glad I can call them friends. Look forward to getting together with them at the Reunion and MCACN. Your choice is welcomed by all. Thanks

Well, I don't know quite what to say. In 1971 when I bought my yellow deuce, I just wanted to go fast. What it has allowed me to do is meet, and become friends with some incredible folks. While the cars bring us together, it's the friends we make that really matter.

Thank you very much.

Ken

The cars are great but I agree it is the friends that matter the most. I am very proud to have Ken and his entire family as close friends. We could not have a better choice!
