Default Day II Vette from NW Nationals

Saw this Vette parked near the Sunoco trailer at the NW Nationals on the weekend and I just had to grab a few shots of it. This thing was oozing cool from every angle and looks like a fun ride.

Cool car w/ some cool D2 goodies, but those tires at a drag strip? Or, was there a belly mower underneath?

Yes...Hoosier Pro Streets on the rear but not sure it was there to be raced? I'd suspect that was some local street car that was simply driven to the track by someone involved with the event. I actually had a pair of those tires on my 55 post which made 732/713 and they hooked that car up really well for a DOT tire.

He probably doesn't want to broadside a pole or a tree on the way home if he gets some rain...

That's almost a perfect driver I wanted to do, MINUS the front suspension. PERFECT weekend driver car if it still had the normal front suspension.
