Default 3-on-the-tree '68 327 Camaro

Nice car...can't say I've ever seen an early V8 camaro with the 3-speed column shift.

I had a R-R 765-Z '67 Camaro that was also a 327 2bbl with three on the tree. Came with the P-O-P too. I had a lot of fun with that car.

Chevy built 51,093 1968 Camaros with the standard M15 3 speed manual. For an extra $10.55 you could order RPO M11 which placed the shifter on the floor. 30,192 were built this way so approx. 20,901 1968 Camaros had the "3 on the tree."

ive owned 2 with 3 on the tree..

column parts wear..and its tuff to get parts..even back in the 80s..so they both got floor shifted pretty quick...

looking back..not so bright

Sold for $19,600, seems pretty fair. I hope it went to someone who wants to keep it original....

Back up for sale, must have fallen through.

Spoiler isn't on it just yet! Someone save this car.

That is one cool car. I would love to own it.

Reminds me of a story.
Had a buddy (Jerry) that got his Dad's 56 Chevy as a hand me down in the 60's as a teenager. Three on the tree. Jerry was out in the driveway cutting a hole in the floor and installing a floor shifter. His Dad came out and watched for a minute and said:
"Took em about 40 years to figure out how to put the shifter on the column where it belongs, and now you are going to put it back on the floor in a couple hours."
