Default 1967 chevelle ss 396-375 id.

i have alead on a 1967 chevelle ss 396 375 car. the original engine is gone but has been replaced the a mild 70's crate L-88. is there anything specific to the vehicle that would be special the the 375 car? i'm seem to recall something about the rear or fuel line in the back of the vehicle. it is a 1 or 2 owner car that was put away in the early 80's. the problem is the guy who told me about it used to race with the guy years ago and wants it but his finances are tight right now. he told me he would think about it and and give me second crack. the car is not officially for sale and has not seen the light of day for some time. the idea of driving around in a 67 chevelle ss with a L-88 with 4 speed and 4.56 gears exites the hell out of me. thax for any input. mike

Is there a Factory Tach in it?
If so,what is the redline?
What is the OD of the fuel line?
Contact Mike Crown,-MYSTERYCHEVELLE.
He's very knowledgeable on the 66's & can probably add more insight about this 67.
Hope ya get it!

If you don't have a Protect-O-Plate, original invoice, window sticker or build sheet you are kinda out of luck. There is no difference in the car from a 396 325 or 350 other than tach redline. One thing, 375s came standard with a 3.73 rear end. The other engines used 3.31s and 3.55s. A 375 could have been ordered with any axle ratio as could the other engines, but not usually. Frank
