Wow, beautiful Vette. C3's are underrated, and that seems like a reasonable price. GLWS.

Great looking car. I have a question on to how it was worded. Is the engine original born with? Or is it stamped to be correct and the engine components original born with?

Engine block and components are born with, I reworded the description above to avoid confusion. I was trying to emphasize that the dates, casting codes AND VIN stamp all validate originality.

Not a stupid question at all and something that I factored in when I priced the car. This is not going to sell to a purist. It will go to someone that will appreciate the car for all of its born with features, but also enjoy the fact that they can take it out for a drive on a Sunday afternoon. I feel I have priced the car fairly for all of the factors it has going for it. It is a great driver in better than #3 driver condition and still has the rarity and mistique of a real solid lifter, big dog 427 Corvette.

Anybody have any other thoughts on this car ? I have been casually in the market for a small block C2 Corvette in this price range, but haven't had much luck finding the "rite"car at the rite price. Having always been a Camaro, Chevelle &Nova guy and never having messed w/ Vette's , this seems to be a pretty nice car ,that's fits into my existing budget. Thanks

No disrespect intended Jeff, but this is a for sale ad. The OP is selling his car. It wouldn't be appropriate for anyone to make any comments in this thread other than for clarification. You might want to call the seller if you really are in the market. His phone number is listed.
