Default Yellow '69 Yenko Chevelle

About 34 years ago I had a chance to buy a yellow '69 Yenko Chevelle. It was for sale in Hartford or Beaver Dam KY. The owner lived in a trailer park and the car was sitting in the driveway in front of his trailer. It still had the original 427, 4 speed and 12 bolt in it, original paint, stripes and interior. I could have got in the car and drove it home. He wanted $7500 for it. I was about 18 years old and didn't have the money or a good place to keep it. I was wondering if anyone knows anything about where this car might be now.

One of these colours.

PS: As far as I know there are only two known Daytona Yellow COPO/Yenko Chevelles..... Did the one you saw have a Vinyl Top?

I think it was Daytona yellow, but it could have been butternut. I don't recall a vinyl top. I'll ask my brother if he remembers it any better. He is the one that found out about the car and I went with him to look at it.

My brother said that the car was butternut yellow with a black vinyl top and it was at Hartford KY.
