Default 1970 Chevelle Super Sport AM/FM with RR Fader

I have a very nice original AM/FM radio, with the optional fader harness for the rear package shelf speaker. The radio works great on both bands and looks cosmetically very nice, with only some minor fading of the tuning needle, and is ready to install.

What is rare about this radio is it does have the deep-set knobs required for the Super Sport / Monte Carlo dash (no other Chevrolet model knobs will work with the deep-inset mounting cups on the SS Dash).

Great upgrade from the standard AM radio.

$375 shipped anywhere in the US.

Sounds like a nice radio Tony. Would you mind posting a picture of the knobs you mentioned? I never knew there was a difference.

Thanks,

Jason

Pics below. I included a couple comparison shots showing the standard Malibu fader/tone knobs compared to the Super Sport deep-recess fader/tone knobs.

This is a super nice radio, had it playing some Bob Seger this evening!

Thank you for posting the pictures of the knobs. I didn’t realize there was a difference. It looks like the inner knobs are different but the outer knobs are the same. Is that correct?

Thanks again,

Jason
