There are 2 levels of interior in all 3 years - standard and deluxe. You could also add some interior accents via Z23.

The door panels are incorrect for the car - they only came with deluxe interiors.
The 3 interior levels I'm referring to are 1)Base. 2)Z23 Interior decor Group. 3)Z87 Deluxe.
This car has the 2) Z23 as indicated on the trim tag.

Kurt S. was referring to the upholstery. The trim tag show standard so the seats are correct but the door panels have been changed to deluxe, so there's a mis-match. Z23 didn't include deluxe door panels.

Was the original owner a Norwood worker by chance?

I understand this now. I'm stating the car came from the factory with these panels. I was wrong when I stated Deluxe everything except seats.

I understand that the deluxe door panels had to have a different door regulator. Longer shank to fit the deluxe door panel. It is very hard if not impossible to use the regular door regulator on a deluxe door panel. If this correct then they had to swap them out for a correct fit.

I know of no difference (in 67) between regulators but the door release shaft is drilled and tapped for the lever. No horseshoe clip used on Deluxe door lever.

When the car came out of storage the interior was never out of the car. The door panels were removed for the first time when the car was stripped and repainted.
There is another anomaly that no one has picked up on yet on the doors.
You have to take into account when this car was built, The last day of 67 production. Only 1 owner and 5600 miles it was not messed with.
I have an 07C car and by the vin was most likely built the last day of production as well. It has 760-Z interior and the door panels are the correct, standard door panels.
