Original Holley 750 Mechanical Carb Value
I have a couple freshly restored Holley 4779 carburetors (750 double pumpers) that are both in very nice condition and completely gone through with nice original coloring. One is a first series 4779 with no dash numbers in the part number stamping, and the second one is a 4779-2 that I had restored for use on my test run stand.
Both were acquired on trade and need to figure out a fair value for each of these carburetors as I may list them for sale if there's a market for these older 750 mechanical carbs? Curious if they'd be considered a Day 2 part and what they may be worth in this condition? Any input appreciated. Thanks Carb 1 (Freshly restored 4779) Carb 2 (Restored and ran twice on test run stand)

$200-$250 each since they need nothing and appear to be in nice condition and retain good dichromate color still.
Definitely the older 750 is a good candidate for a Day 2 build. Kurt |

I'd be interested in one of those carbs if looking to sell.
The test-stand carb would a great unit for future small block 355 build. I like the older stuff, especially if you've had a hand in tweaking it! Jerry |
