Default Sunflower Yellow '70 Nova SS396 350hp/4-sp

Neat car, great colors. Looks like it sold for $23k in a 2012 Mecum auction and a broadcast sheet was included with the sale. Current seller doesn't say anything about docs...which is interesting.

Should the valve covers be chrome or painted?

> This True Nova SS Big Block is equipped with the Rare spring special package featuring Sunflower yellow paint unique only with this package, ZJ1 custom interior package and the ZJ2 custom exterior trim.
Huh?

Default Sunflower SS

Yes, the valve covers should be chrome. There are a number of other incorrect things but a neat car none the less. Has anyone seen this car in person?

Post L34 Nova...

This was one of the special spring colors for the 1970 Nova...build date on TT is 04D....end of April. Lots of small items are incorrect in the interior and under the hood...but overall a cool car.

Kind of surprised the F41 option wasn't installed...should be about the right time frame for that component.

**1970 Fisher Body sheets for the Nova did not list the BB engine option...only the SS conversion.

My point was there was no special package. Just a mid-year color add.
Great color too!
