Default Rusty '69 Camaro L78/M22 Project

I'm taking the seller's word when it comes to drivetrain originality...not enough info posted in pics for me to judge one way or the other.

Pretty rough project, always wonder what to make of things when you see the rear wheels sitting on the jounce bumpers like that...bad frame rail, broken spring, or what?

It's already at $15,600, guessing it will get close to $25k or maybe a little bit above, if the born-with drivetrain claims check out.

I think the "C" on the muncie case has been stamped. I thought the assembly plants began stamping the letter for trans designation around December 1968.

My 69 Z-28 10C build date tranny has an assembly date of P9P16 or September 16th 1968 with no letter stamp.

My other 69 Z-28 with an 01B trim tag build date has the trans stamped with the letter designation.

Man that would be one good looking car though.....

Guessing that the missing rear window let water in and the springs are through the trunk. For someone that could do their own work, maybe.....

10-21-1968 was the date suffix letters began on Camaro Muncie 4-Spd. Source: CRG
