Great car and great score for someone. Any chance we can see some pictures now that it's reportedly cleaned and detailed?

I'd also be curious to know how the owner/buyer came across the car. Lastly, will it be driven...or is it collection bound.

New owner heard about it through some mutual friends and showed up with cash, I am sure it will surface at some point as the new owner flips a lot of 1st gen Camaros.

Wow, that's interesting about the JL8. My dad said he went through the same process with trying to order JL8 with his 'base' X77 car, but it kept getting delayed. I thought he was delusional or not recalling things correctly after 40+ years ago, considering everything I've seen said that wasn't an option until Feb/Mar 69. I may have to apologize to him

Do we know when that option was available to order?

Sweet car, I love the blue interior with the Glacier. Would like to see more pics after it has been detailed.

My 69 SS Chevelle was sold new at Tom Brooks Chevrolet as well. The car in my avatar. Hard to find any dealer info on that dealership.

Very cool Z. Thanks for sharing.
