Chuck,

If the owner of this car would just correct some issues, you probably could move it quicker.

It needs a curved neck radiator with a 4.10 rear.

Straight back headrests were not used when the car was built.

All SS cars had the quarter louver mouldings in the quarter panels.

Warren I do not believe all 4:10 cars came with curved neck radiators. My all original L78 pace car and my L78 conv I have now both have 4:10 rears and didnt have curved neck radiators. The gold 20k mile original L78 conv has 3:55 gears and came with a curved neck radiator but it was ordered with heavy duty cooling.

My mistake on Chuck's car on the curved neck. His is probably a 1st week of March car. Heavy duty cooling became available as an option April 1st for the 4.10 L78 and L89 cars.

John,

The original L78 pace car I sold to you was built before the heavy duty cooling (curve neck) was included on 410 cars and also believe 373. There is technical service bulletin describing the mandated change with date (believe mid April) but I can't find it. You could have ordered prior to the April time frame.
