Default 69 Z/28 - Hugger Orange

1969 Camaro - Z/28

Price: 55,000.00 negotiable - Priced Reduced 49,000

Real Hugger Orange Car with white stripes, Real Hugger Orange Houndstooth interior - as validated by the trim tag - see pic below. Additional options include console, gauges, rosewood dash and M22.

Not Orig Motor - Counter replacement trans from 1969 (done at the dealer) - *Not Original Rear. Mileage = 57K original miles. Left frame rail has the original welded exhaust mounting plate. (see pics)

A lot of repair and refurbish work done over the years - not a concourse correct car and there are things to pick on about the car from a purist perspective,* but what is great is that this is a real deal Z/28 with the original color combination and a fantastic driver car - not to be ashamed of. More in line of Day 2 mods. *

Here is the story - my best friend from high school and I bought our first 69 Camaro’s together in @1973/74 - mine a 69 RS/SS 350 4-sp, and he bought*this 69 HO Z/28. * *I have know this Z/28 from the time he purchased it to now. *My friend “Sam” kept his car all those years, going thru life, in the Navy, employment at J&L Steel Mill, married with kids, moving 2-3 times, divorce and now happy married again with kids and of course all through this - continued to own his*beloved 69Z. *

Over the years, Sam was more into racing/performance as i was more in the line of restoration/originality. *

I recall the time we were street racing on the boulevard in Aliquippa and blew the Z motor. Next day we installed a BB, then later on another SB, installed a hurst super shifter, gears and other performance items. *

Fast forward to recently - the past few yrs, Sam set out to repair and refurbish items on the Z/28 due to some rust, and operational items due to years of sitting etc. *

Floors and trunk pans replaced, some body metal, fender, trunk lid and hood (see full list below)*

During the refurbish, he had the subframe out and he decided to smooth the firewall at the seam and thus removed the trim tag for the smoothing. Once the firewall was smoothed and painted he reinstalled*the original trim tag back on with the correct rivots. * *Body VIN and dash VIN all match as they should. *

He recently finalized some refinish activities by repainting the car with the correct HO paint and white stripes. * *

We had a lot of fun with this car when we were in the same town together - NCRS document shows “Miller and Sons Chevrolet Dealer” delivery - Aliquippa PA, where Sam and I grew up. **

Im listing this for my friend Sam, please contact him directly with any questions at 859-361-8294. Car is located in Georgetown, Kentucky. Ill monitor the web site and try to respond as needed.

Just talked to Sam about the car - he wants to sell the car - so he is motivated - give him and call and talk $$ - he is interested in moving it thus very negotiable.

I believe all the info he and I know about the car is in the ad, so no surprises was my view of
writing the ad.

Thanks guys.....
