Default Repro 3933198 Intakes

Does anyone know who is making these? This jerk is selling them as restored pieces.

They loks like absolute junk. Horrible part number and firing order and a sideways snowflake. Wow, I feel sorry for the buyers. The worst part is he is getting positive feedback. The guy is selling "restored" 3933163 intakes also and what looks to be other restamped pieces. I hope it catches up with him.

Looks like the bottom just fell out of 198 intakes.

I doubt many people will be taken on those crappy looking copies. And they will find out soon enough. The casting number isn't even close.

If he puts another one up for sale, why don't you make a "warning" auction on ebay comparing a real 198 to the new fakes. Just a thought.

The eBay description :

"1969 1968 Camaro Corvette ZL1 L88. 1969 Camaro / Corvette intake manifold part # 3933198. These intakes were used on 1969 ZL1 motors and 1968-69 L88 motors. This is a perfectly restored intake manifold. All threads are in new condition. If you need a high quality, show condition intake manifold for your ZL1 or L88, then this is one is for you. The color is spot on in regards to original finish. No issues guaranteed. You will be 100% satisfied."

I dont see where this is advertised as a reproduction.
Where are you basing your analysis of this on?
Are you in the know of these being reproduced and if so who is doing them?

Added:
Now I am seeing another one of these on eBay by a different seller.
This seller is stating that his is a reproduction!

Now I am seeing this.
