1969 Chevelle Radiator
I would like some opinions on a Harrison radiator as I'm not sure if it's an original or a reproduction.....although I'm leaning towards it being original.
It's a 3 core with IA and XJ tanks. The XJ tank has the letter L stamped on it which I suspect is December. The overflow hose clip has BD on it. There is also a small tag on the fins that has 29017 356 Canada. I'm not sure what the first set of numbers are but 356 must be the 356th day of the year which would be in December.......making it the same as the XJ tank. Thanks in advance, Kurt |

Re: 1969 Chevelle Radiator
Kurt,
That radiator looks original to me. Haven't seen a Canada tag like that before, maybe someone will chime in. Maybe that was a tag on a new core possibly? Maybe some of our Northern neighbors will chime in. Phil Woj |

Re: 1969 Chevelle Radiator
X-2 I believe the replacement core is manufactured by Spectra out of Canada. I have used them on many cars I have restored. The 1966 Toronado I just sold had a 4-core in it from Spectra (the same 4-core as my LS-6)
Original Harrison tanks are becoming very hard to find. Bill |

Thanks for the replies. I took it to a local shop and $50 later......it came out with flying colors. It needed a couple minor repairs but nothing terrible.
I might install it this week. Kurt |
