Welp...... Only one thing to do. Looks like the next project for me to get ready for MCACN 2018 is my Bullitt car! Although mine is a Saddle Interior , it is a factory Highland Green, 4spd, S-Code GT Fastback!

Great...... Another clock starts to tic!

Cheers

Dave

It's been said that this so called Bullitt car has Vin #8R02S12558. This car was reportedly crushed after filming as it was in too rough shape for re-sale and liability issues if sold to the public. Vin #8R02S12559- the "Real Bullitt car-is sitting in a shed in the South Eastern 'States-Kentucky/Tennessee by the third owner who refuses to sell it or show it to the public. Apparently car #8R02S12558 is being restored and will be available for viewing this year.

I believe the gentleman in Kentucky - who refused to sell it - has since passed away and his family (son & daughter, I think) are now the keepers of the car. With the 50th Anniversary of Bullitt upcoming I bet it gets flushed out. Apparently Kevin Marti has given the thumbs up on this Mexico car as the "long-thought-crushed" camera car.
