Default Dusk Blue RS/Z

Looks pretty nice, originally sold at Nalley Chevrolet in Atlanta.

The car is about an hour from me - in case anyone is (seriously) interested in it, I may be able to check it out.

1969 Camaro RS/Z

Car has been discussed over on CRG. Repop tag & I don't believe the pop is original.

I looked at the car a couple of weeks ago. Owner is a nice guy and very accommodating. I too had concerns with the tag as well as I could not find a VIN anywhere on the block. Several small items missing that would add up. Console and gauges added according to owner. Camaro expert referenced in his description is Richard Maksym (Coast 2 Coast Camaro) who also did much of the work. Paint is really nice overall and interior needs minor sorting out. I am not 100% sure the tag is a problem and I was less concerned with the POP. The car however presented me with more questions than answers so the search goes on for me.

'

Too bad the car's been messed with as the Nalley Chevrolet connection is cool!
A dozen years earlier, Nalley Chevrolet was the delivering dealer for the original '57 Black Widow cars also part of Vince Piggins' secretive SEDCO operation in Atlanta building the BW cars for Chevrolet's '57 NASCAR effort.

So, the documenter of the car is also the guy who restored it. Yeah, no conflict of interest there.....

On the axle you can see the C stamped before the B and the restamped U. So it was a CB- something axle. The U is definitely stamped over some other letter.

The trans VIN is a restamp too. The cowl tag is one of those early repop tags and very easy to detect.

The expert mentioned aint exactly a trustworthy resource. I had my own dealings with him before.
