This has been sitting in this driveway for quite some time. Sometimes it has a plastic tarp on it,
sometimes a for sale sign. The hood has a couple of hood pins in the back and appears to tilt
forward. I don't know where that rear design came from.

Maybe its a customized Motion car - yeah - dream on!

Saddening pictures of a 1970 GTO convertible.
I have know of this car for 10+ years. Nothing has been done other than rotting away. The woman said her dad bought it for her when she was 15 and she is now 40. Her dad has since passed away and she can't bring herself to sell it.
It is Cardinal Red, white top, black cloth bench seat interior, column shift, power windows, standard 400 4bbl auto. Does not run. The front valance is beat up from when it last ran then broke down. The tow truck driver hooked to the frame through the valance grills.

------I believe that this Corvette may be the remains of a very rare remodeled Corvette that a guy in Miami named Bobby Rautbord had made in low numbers called a Finovette. Initially, his idea was to build a car that would complement his line of boats built in the Magnum factory called Finos. The boats were beautiful. Ive been trying to aquire a good one for years, but there were only about 30 made and they are extremely hard to find. The Finovettes were nowhere near as successful and I have no idea how many were made. Probably in the single didgets. This one appears to have had the nose replaced as well as the rear wing that was originally inbetween the added rear buttresses. The treatment right behind the side windows is the giveaway. I have never seen that anywhere else. A very forgetable modified Corvette with at least half of it gone anyway..........Bill S

Do you happen to have a picture of what a complete Fino Vette should look like?
