Anyone know where this car was in the mid to late 70's? It looks like one that ran around Decatur, Illinois at that time

Today was such a great day after a week of less than stellar weather, so I pushed the 67 Yenko/Harrell out for a few pictures. The royal plum paint looks really nice in the natural light..BKH

A closer look at the trim tag and the 4K-. A tell tell sign of a 67 Yenko. A small detail, but a very important one...BKH

A look at the decal that is applied to the instrument cluster. Along with the ink stamp on the circiut board..BKH

I really think the 67 is a far better car than the 68/9 Camaros in many ways. Little stuff like the real metal gas pedal instead of the later all plastic versions..BKH

The heart of the beast. THE original 67' 427 Harrell built big block. What makes a Yenko/Harrell car what it is really. With its original headers and Holley carb, the engine did a solid 541 HP...BKH
