Drag Racing @ Gateway International:
§ Gates open at 8am
§ Racing from 10am until 4pm
§ Move in at Gateway Center 5pm until 6:30pm [be there ASAP!]
§ 7:30pm - midnight - Building re-opens for folks to visit and view cars. During this time we will have a cash bar and snacks, and have the auction.

Indoor Supercar Show & Outdoor Musclecar Show @ Gateway Center:
§ Doors open to public from 9am to 4pm
§ Cars need to be out of building Saturday evening

Within the past year, a number of you avid Yenko Chevrolet enthusiasts have offered to supply me with historic photographs and/or various technical facts about our most favorite brand of car(s) for the upcoming CAR TECH, INC. coffee table book, “YENKO! THE MAN, THE MACHINES, THE LEGEND!” Unfortunately, these materials have been long in coming, and my publisher is starting to put on the pressure. BIG TIME! So please, repeat, PLEASE bring any and all historical photographs and/or current photographs of interest, any Yenko collectibles (for me to photograph,) that you might have, and any written information which you might want to share, and/or have included in this book to me at this year’s SYC Supercar Reunion XI. BTW, Bob has been in contact with several magazines who are interested in articles from SCR11. One major magazine has requested lots of racing action, including smokey burnouts. I would once again like to remind everyone to take a few moments and put together something telling about your car. Make several copies, as last year we had at least 5 writers at the event.

Lastly..it has been suggested to me that perhaps we have a "gambler's race" at the track on Friday. How this works, everyone throws X amount of $$$ into a pot, race bracket style until we have a winner, with the winner getting the $$4. It was suggested that the winner get half and charity get half. How about this?
Everyone throws $100 into the pot, "buy backs" $20.00 each, (if you lose, you can buy back in) and since we have revamped the auction some, all the proceeds go to charity. The winner would receive recognition on here, and perhaps a nice certificate/winner decal from Cumby.

I thought I might try to make all of you feel better about towing to the Reunion given high gas prices in the US.
I just filled up my daily driver with Shell VPower premium - $8.60 per gallon. And I'm getting sub 10 mi to the gallon in the city. 
You guys can do better than that towing on the highway at about half the price. If any of you are on the fence about attending due to fuel prices, it's time to get off the fence and get on the road to Collinsville.
