Hi, I just picked up a protectoplate from a triple black 66 plain impala 427/425 close ratio 4spd car sold new at Nickey. I actually got it from the original owner of the car, which does not exist anymore (99.9% sure). He also bought a 67 Impala SS 396 4sopd from Nickey as well. I also have another protectoplate from a 65 belair 2dr also sold at Nickey. I would love to see some additional paperwork from these cars if it is out there. I wouldn't be surprised though if there is nothing left. Just thought I'd ask as I've always wondered if they saved anything from the 60's.
Thanks, Warren

Warren, you may not believe this, but I know a guy who owns a black '66 Impala that matches your description. He bought it just outside Chicago in Aurora, I believe. I can call him tomorrow. He's had this car for many years and has shown it only a couple of times. Can you give me some more info about this protect-o-plate?
Thanks, Pete

Pete, What kind of info would you like off the plate? Sounds like an interesting car your friend has! Warren

Yeah, what happened to Pete? I thought he was calling his friend a couple of days ago.
