Luby Chevrolet, Colorado
      #384528 - 02/02/09 05:06 PM

Anyone have an emblem from Luby Chevrolet in Denver, CO?
A friend just purchased a Corvette that came from that dealer and there are two holes where they must have mounted their emblem. He'd like one to place back on the car.

Thanks

I've got a picture of one at home...I can't access it from work.

If Joe doesn't find his I'll post my picture...

Tim, Luby Chevrolet was bought by Emich Chevrolet about two years ago. They still have the same phone # 303-716-6490. I called them and asked if the used car lot or body shop might still have some old Luby name plates left. I'll contact you if they find any. Wayne

I had a 61 FI car from Luby but I don't remember it having a Luby Emblem.

Guys,

Thank you. That's the same mounting place where the holes are on the Corvette. The size of the emblem seems about the same spread as the holes. This is an original paint car and the option is to repair the holes or find an emblem to put on the car.

I've picked up a few Luby Denver items over the years.
I believe they produced at least three variations of emblems.

The later issued, heavily orange outlined cursive under the center circle emblem above is made entirely of plastic w/o any mounting posts and adheres with friction tape.

This pot metal circle emblem is the earliest I have, and has three mounting posts instead of two.
