Some e-brake detail. The original cable that goes through the firewall had this RED plastic seal at the firewall. The intermediate cable hook in black is original, the silver one is a repo. You can see the difference in the hook angle. The cable adjustment slide is shaped much different too. The black one is original. The factory cable connectors have a "DD" stamp and are much larger than the current repos. .BKH

The factory gas tank hose has a rippled surface compared to a repo. The original rubber sleeve has this part number molded in the inside. Once together you never see it again. The original hose clamps are NOT dated..BKH

The Stewart Warner 990 B monitor box from the backside. This is the original mounting location for this tachometer. Not really the best, since the keys dangle into the face of the tach, but it looks cool.

I found this little item interesting. The seat back release knob in 67 uses a larger set screw than the 69 version. Every other feature is exactly the same..BKH

This is the original hand bent fuel line from the Yenko. It was modified in this manner to clear the Doug Headers. This is the line installed in the chassis. It might be wrong for a stock 396, but for a Yenko/Harrell modified supercar its right on the money...BKH

The engine bay is wrapping up. I was able to acquire Autolite 3rd Quarter 1966 wire and make up a set of custom wires just as Harrell did for the car when new...BKH

The nose of the car is also in its final stages. I expect the hood to be on and the pin stripes and rocker spears next week..BKH

Some suspension pictures. I love the handmade traction bars. These are identical to the ones I have seen on other Yenko's. Yenko once told me that they fabricated there own bars to save money. Those are the original dated spiral shocks still on the rear...BKH
