anybody know of a chevy dealer in ozone park new york from the late 60's, early 70's? my friend just found out from the cousin of the original owner of his 69 z=28 that it was sold new in ozone park. he did not remember the dealership. dog, you want to weigh in on this one?

Sorry - I'm can't remember any - and I lived in OZ for a short time in the late seventies.
There are a couple near by I remember -
Williams - Corona
Jameco - Jamaica
Village - Queens Village
Mac Grotty - Flushing

I have a little over 50 zone 27's in my list, but nothing in Ozone Park! Is he 100% sure on that?

i am going by what the cousin of the original owner remembers. i couldnt think of one either. will look into it further.

There was a Rich-Haven Motors(that sold Oldsmobile)138-38 Cross Bay Blvd Ozone Park until about early 1975. Then in 1976 it looks like it might have become just Haven Chevrolet(81-20 Atlantic Ave. Ozone Park NY).Maybe Rich-Haven Motors sold Chevy as well as Olds in the 60's

Hello Buddy,
You need to go to the public library in Ozone Park, NY.
Ask for help to the old phone books from 1969.
Check under the new automobile section in the yellow pages.
Maybe this will get you the Chevrolet dealer name and address and other info listed there.

Hi Buddy. I checked a little further and found a Haven Chevrolet in 1956 at 81-20 Atlantic Ave Oz Pk and the The Haven Chevrolet at the same address in 1976. I could'nt find anything yet between those years.
