I was just looking at the Indy results and noticed the Dog N Suds sign below brought $11k...there is one of these original signs over in West Plains, it's still standing and is still a drive-in burger place, but when I drove by yesterday, for whatever reason they had removed all the neon & other lights from the sign, and painted the entire thing white! And then added some tiny, generic block lettering that said "Burger Shop" or something stupid like that.
Friggin' shame, as the kids & I ate underneath that sign in my '72 Suburban just last summer...

Man that sign takes me back...Glad to see I'm not alone. I still have the thickass glass Rootbeer Float mugs I got from our local one here,before it went out of biz.
