thanks again for all the efforts
one puzzling observation though
as I looked at all those interior shots there was only a small handful of cars that had OEM style floor mats "in order", all the other cars seemed to have "Yosemite Sam" (not exactly, but...) style mats that were crooked, sideways, dirty, etc. Those mats really detracted from the interior shots, I wonder if they are even aware? (or am I just being too sensitive? It IS good that they are out ....)
ONE car that stood out was the white 63 Impala SS 409, that car was pristine on the inside, mats clean and neatly arranged, no coolers, slurpy cups or jackets etc all over the floor.
I think the 2nd thing anyone does at a show is look in the drivers window. Seeing dirty floor mats all wadded up on the floor is not what people are expecting to see when they look inside. IMHO, YMMV, etc

Dave from VA came up! Great to have you Dave!

These are all of the Yenko.net Members in attendance at the cruise.

Thanks Rick! It was great meeting all of you and it was definitely worth the trip even though it took me 2.5 hours to go 80 miles because of the DC Beltway (495). I'll be back for more in the near future!

Thanks for the entertainment Rick. Love the Edsel!
One question though. Do you know if the Heavy Chevy came with the cowl induction hood or was it added later? I've been told a number of times by "experts" that Heavy Chevys didn't have that option. I for one disagree with that opinion as I personally drug a hood out of a ditch that had the HC vinyl graphics on the front lip. Someone had cut the bulge and flapper off the hood but I salvaged the CI box from the underside. Just curious.

Thanks Dennis!
My buddy owns that Heavy, and sits one aisle away from me here at work.
It did not come with Cowl Induction, he added it, but to make it appear accurate, he fabricated that heat pipe.
As far as a Heavy coming through with CI installed at the factory, he does not believe a Heavy could be ordered with it. His GM literature indicates it could not happen.
However, if you ordered one of these with a big block, I certainly can't see why you couldn't get CI too.

Great coverage Rick. Thanks!!
BTW, that "purple Hemi 4 speed" Charger that was for sale started life as a blue metallic, 440/375HP, torqueflite (auto) Charger. Just a few changes BTW2: the white vinyl roof is correct!!

Thanks Sam! Where can I find a MOPAR tag decoder? Once we relocate and get settled in, I "may" have to buy one of these Chargers to occupy space in the garage with my Chevelle.

As usual Rick I'm late for the party
Some real cool cars down there. I must be living in the "butt end" of the world when it comes to cool cars at Cruise Nights.
Do you know the story on that Dusk Blue 69 Malibu with a 350 and 4 speed on page one Rick?

Hey Don! Better late than never!
Ed Kelly from Bel Air (where I live) is the original owner of that car! I'm sure you two probably talked quite extensively at the last few Mid Atlantic Chevelle Shows. He's a cool guy, like you.
Life has kept me away from the last 3 shows, and I was only able to stay at the 2009 show for about 3 hours on Sunday. Still was enough time to take 214 pictures.
