All ads MUST include the following:

price - ad must include price
contact info - whether it be email or phone number

Also, I would GREATLY appreciate that ALL members of this bulletin board fill out their profile info with their real name, location, and contact info, but this is imperitive for those wanting to post in the for sale section!

How do you feel about Ebay auctions listed here?
As in,"See my ebay auction #1234567".
Are there any people who don't like that,or is it acceptable? Some websites do not allow this.
I am getting ready to list some things on Ebay soon.

Well speaking for myself, I feel that anybody has the right to sell whatever they want whenever they want however they feel. The best way to sell there stuff is to let people see it and online auctions bring many many people to your items, this is still AMERICA the last time i checked, Even though this is not my forum to make the rules. as much as some people dislike ebay it still brings many rare or hard to find parts to anyone who wants to bid on them.

I respect those who are selling stuff that interest this group of people we make up and give first crack to the members of this site. If there are no takers on the items right away then I have no problem with a seller posting up a link to their Ebay auction and saying it's on Ebay now, go fight over it. That and it allows us to at least know about specific items that are up on Ebay that some people wouldn't necessarily be searching for at that particular window of 3 to 7 days, yet it's a part they'd been looking for for some time. Ya know? I say as long as the item is Supercar or Muscle Car related to the primary interests of all of us here it doesn't bother me.. IMO. But if it turns into "hey I got a nice front bumper for a 77 Ford Maverick up on Ebay... or I got some mint headrests and a glove box door for an '83 Dodge van.. or some ... That would get old VERY fast.. Keep the Ebay stuff related to our interests. unless it's pretty funny or just plain wierd where we can all get a chuckle.. My Opinion

Just my .02 Cents on selling through the site.

have a fixed price to sell through here or up the members fee which would allow you (the seller)unlimited items to sell be it a E-bay sale or private sale.

One could either pay a fee say $15/year (non-sYc members) to post for sale items here or pay an extra $5 when they register on the site as a paid member and get the same benifits. http://www.yenko.net/clubinfo.htm I can see the paid membership increasing and thus the added $$$ spent on upgrades to the site, or help out with the Reunion's every year.

Jeff, its quite simple. The reason alot of parts are on this site and team chevelle is because its free . If you are going to pay a fee here to sell like ebay, would you choose a site with millions of potential buyers or hundreds? The only ones that suffer are the members that like to look at/and/or buy parts. The sellers will just go to ebay, and take the buyers with them.......

Chuck you have got to be $hittin me. If Rob asked you for instance to pay $100.00 to sell parts for 1 year would you do it?

I don't know how much money you have made on this site but it seems like every day you are listing multiple parts for sale. Even though this site has "hundreds" of members vs. Team Chevelles thousands how many of the TC members have you come across that are the type of customers that are willing to pay up for the big ticket items that you list here. I would bet that you have sold more here than TC and obviously made more money.

If Rob & Tom don't require you to pay a fee you should at least become a Friend to the Reunion. Just seems like the right thing to do IMO.

Not for nothing: but even though i am a new member i think that Chuck has been a silent friend of the reunions all along because he has sold a lot of stuff that goes on many cars on this site and other sites if he never sold here how many wrong parts would be on members cars? He takes the time to bring the ultra rare supercar parts to us and he has some impressive parts. Chuck is the reason that i joined this site, I think that its a fine balance and it works well the way it is. if fees were tacked on to sell parts i know that my prices would go up. chuck lists his parts with a fixed price not a sell to the highest bidder.there is not a week that goes by when one of the members refers everyone to a ebay auction of some kind. if its not broke don't fix it.

I bought a carb and water pump from Chuck. He sold them to me cheaper than his ebay prices. Also bought a shifter from Craig, NCGUY68. I would much rather buy from someone on this site than an unknown source. All these parts I bought are top quality. Now, for them mint inners...........Tony
