Roger, I hope your experience at MCACN was everything they promised you it would be. You were surrounded by some mighty fine folks in the COPO display and your Chevelle was certainly one of the highlights of the event. Unfortunately I only got to say Hi one time, but I hope to have another opportunity soon.

Roger: I ran across this thread and thought I would share my memories. In the mid 70's (74-75) I lived next door to the local Chevy dealer (Larry Fannin Chevrolet) and would watch the used cars coming through. I remember a 69 Malibu (dark green, no vinyl roof)coming through that had been sold new by WWW Chevrolet in Ezel,Ky. . My friend Gary and I thought it was starnge to see an original car like this with a SS hood. Upon getting the owner (Dee Fannin) to open the car and let us check it out it was a factory 427 Malibu. Yours is the only other one of these I have heard of. It had carpeted floors a 4 speed (white ball) with a Hurst shifter and a bench seat (green fabric) and no tach. The owner stated that it was a 1 owner car and original . Just thought I would chime in .Congradulations on finding your car
