"This car was bought in 96 through a local regional paper. It was cleverly disguised as a Daytona Yellow Z28. GM of Canada confirmed it was in fact a Hugger Orange automatic COPO car. I put the car in the garage for about a year and started the restoration in January and had it complete in just 5 months. Before starting the restoration, I located an "MO" COPO motor within about 200 vin's of my car, so it was purchased and is in the car now."

"Car was shipped new on April 30, 1969. Came with automatic, console, gauges, radio, rear antenna, and is an X-11 car, which gives it all the pretty exterior chrome. Car has run 12.80's on F70-14 Polyglas tires. Was a main competitor at the Pure Stock Drags for a few years, till my white car came out. Was used in the "Killer COPO Shootout" issue of Musclecar review, and used on the cover for that issue. Car has taken editors choice from Super Chevy Magazine and editors choice from Chevy High Performance magazine. At the Camaro Nationals in Canada it took "Judges Choice". Car was also featured in a edition of Camaro Performers.  The car was also used in two separate releases of American Musclecar, the Supercar edition and the first generation edition. Car was sold new in Amherstburg, Ontario at Murray Kennedy Motors LTD. Dealership is still in business. Looks like it was the only COPO they sold."
