With
Chevelles being dear to my heart, and since I've had these pictures for a couple
of months, I've been super-anxious to get this page up! So, here's a
little info, in Chad's own words...
"The car was purchased brand new at Yenko Chevrolet by Anthony Montini of Freedom, Pa. Tony drove the car and took very good care of it until 1989 when he sold it to Vince Emme. The car only showed a little over 18,000 miles when Vince purchased it, and was not driven much after that. The car retained all of its original drivetrain, as well as the original interior."
"
I
did not have to find many parts because all of the smog,
carb, intake, manifolds and everything else was all original and had never been
off the car, as verified by the original owner. The car had mostly original
paint but was not nice enough to leave alone. In 2003, the car went to RPM
Restorations in Lino Lakes, Minnesota for a complete, frame off
restoration. Our goal was to have it done for the Supercar Reunion, as
both the car and the original owner were going to be there. We were not able to
get it done in time, but will be there next year!!"
