Here is a 1 minute clip of the Chevelle running.

( Yes, the cam is a little "lumpy". http://www.yenko.net/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/grin.gif )

The exhaust is a Torque Tech 3" system with an x-pipe and 3" Walker 20" case mufflers. I couldn't be happier with this exhaust system in regards to fit or sound quality, it's exactly what I was hoping for.

PLEASE RIGHT-CLICK AND SELECT "SAVE TARGET AS" TO DOWNLOAD THE CLIP TO YOUR DESKTOP..it's only ~2mb

(p.s. no, the garage isn't on a slope, one of the legs on the tripod for the camcorder wasn't adjusted correctly...and please ignore the disco-wannabe flickering strobe light in the left of the video)

Sounds good Eric, Time for a new Ballast in your light. I just replaced 3 that were driving me nuts.

Thanks guys.

The strobe effect is actually the bulbs starting to go again--just replaced a couple a week or so ago, now the rest are starting to go.

Of course, I could just leave them be and hang a disco ball from the rafters...(in keeping with the theme)

Still a few details to be addressed before it can hit the road;

--RF frame horn still needs a slight tweak in order to be able to get the bumper/brackets installed, which will be addressed when the car goes back to the frame shop for the front end alignment

--the whole car needs to be "nut & bolted"

--need to get the seats (at least the front one, anyhow) to&from the upholstery shop for new covers & foam...can't drive it sitting on a milk crate, and seat springs poking me in the can ain't my idea of fun.

--still need to get the new front tires & rims (has a set of "maypops" on the front at the moment)

Once these issues are addressed, I'll be able to drive it and work out the bugs. Then it goes to the bodyshop to de-uglify it.

IF I'm lucky, I'll get to drive it a little bit before the year's out.

..."if"...
