Well Ive been busy as heck but wanted to give a quick update on the auction Im putting together at Mall of America in Bloomington, Mn. September 12th and 13th

We had a booth set up at the Car Craft Nationals this last weekend and I was very happy with the response and think this could really be a great event. I would imagine alot more cars will start rolling in now that were starting to get close to the auction but I wanted to share a couple with you guys because I think a few of you might have interest.

1) 1970 Chevrolet Chevelle SS454 LS5 Convertible, I have NO problem saying this is the BEST LS5 CONVERTIBLE in the country, it has scored 1000 out of 1000 points at two shows and won numerous awards, It is Fathom Blue with Ivory Interior a good description and pictures are available on our site. Part of the Mottaz Collection.

2) 1972 Chevelle SS350 Convertible, 350/4 speed, Triple Black, loaded with options, car has scored 994 points and is a very very nice car. Pictures and description available on our site. Part of the Mottaz collection.

3) 1956 Ford Thunderbird, 312 with Dress up kit, Auto, White with Red interior, The restoration of this car is OUTSTANDING, Im not really a Ford guy but when I went to take pics of the car I almost bought it myself, Ive never seen a nicer Bird anywhere. Pics and description online.

Other Feature cars include, 1970 Yenko Deuce, 1969 Nascar Pace Car Camaro (my own car), 1970 Plymouth Cuda 440 SIXPACK Convertible, 4 speed, Shaker, Original Sheet Metal Car, and plenty of other nice cars..

Im a little behind on updating the site but keep checking back.. www.rinstadauctions.com (http://www.rinstadauctions.com) then click on car list.

The event will kick off Friday, September 12 with a sneak-preview of the cars included in the auction. This preview will be followed by a charity gala/sports memorabilia auction benefiting the RT (Reece Trahan) Autism Awareness Foundation. The RT Autism Awareness Foundation is an organization devoted to making people aware of Autism and the effects it has on children and their families. A few Minnesota Vikings will also be on hand too.

It was a bust.. Bad weather!!, Bad Audio, Auctioneers werent the Best.. There is alot of work to be done before the next one.. We sold right around $550k worth or cars when it was all said and done. Old Cars Weekly Posted the results a few weeks ago.. Some of the ones I remember are

Duesenburg Replica, 110k
Shelby 100k
LC470 45k? or just over that.
1956 T-Bird KILLER CAR!!! 60k
Then some cheaper stuff..

We came REAL close on the Real Duesenburg, the deal might still get done. I met some great people and learned alot.

The Convertible didnt sell, it had real money at 160k from a phone bidder in Iowa but she wants alot more for it. That car is the BEST restored Chevelle Ive personally ever seen and Id love to own it but thats some big dough for a LS5. The car is so nicely done I dont think Id have the heart to change it back to Gold.

I looked at the site for your auction. Man there were some wicked nice muscle cars there. Sorry to hear it didn't go off that well.
