I have 3 or 4 of Chuck's molded hood pads that I picked up from him in Carlisle. I will have them at SCR10 on saturday August 30th. Chuck wants $80 for the pads, and $20 for the correct clips. This will save you the high shipping cost due to over size packaging. Thanks SYC for the ad. Mike

I have one of the pads on my '70 Z-28 They are an exact match for the correct 1970 issue pad. Anyone who needs one should get 'em. early cars got Metal clips, later cars got Plastic clips.
With so few really technically correct parts on the market for a '70 Camaro these are a deal at that price. http://www.yenko.net/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/beers.gif

Hi Paul, I am sorry for the misunderstanding, but I am not shipping these. They are for pick up only. Contact Chuck S.(CamarosRus) personally, and he can hook you up. Mike

I just checked on what I have, and I only have 2 extra pads, and 2 bags of clips. Darren, I will save one for you, and JHS, I will save the other for you. My name is Mike Steitz, and I will PM you my cell phone number. To anyone else that is interested, these can still be purchased through Chuck, you will just have to pay the shipping. I was just trying to save you guys coming to SCR10 a couple of bucks. Mike

Chuck who has them. Randy and I can grab those. Then Mike can sell the one dedicated to me to someone else. Easier for everyone I imagine...

I will have pre-paid pads available for pick-up at Camaros at Carlisle (G.M.Carlisle) on June 25/26 2009.
For a small fee I may also be having pre paid pads transported back, for pick-up at the Supercar Reunion Show on Sept 5th, in Collinsville, IL
As well there will pads going back to Chicagoland for pickup before or at the November Musclecar Car Nationals, November 21.
Pad price is $79 and metal clips(1970) are $18. Plastic clips (later 1971+)......I need to check $$
These must be prepaid. Check, money order or PAYPAL (add 3%)
For those not in Chicago, Carlisle or St Louis area, I can still ship these. Write my EMAIL
[email protected] for a quote, as it changes almost weekly.

For anyone who hasn't seen one of Chuck's hood pads, here is a pic of the one I bought from him installed on my 70 Z28. Virtually identical to the original one that was on the car and very high quality. The clips are also very nice, I can't tell the difference between Chuck's re pop clips and NOS originals. Very well worth the asking price!!! Great job reproducing this Chuck....my hat is off to you!!!

Jeff, I'm going to be bringing a large order of 10 or more pads into Seattle area via truck freight.
I'm thinking I could then somehow send one south to Calif.....
Other alternative is to ship directly to you from warehouse in PA at probably a cost approaching $45 or $50!!!!!!!!!
The oversize frieght on these pads is expensive. This is why I've had extra pads brought to St Louis and Chicago area.

if I bought 2 or more, the freight total shouldnt be more than 45-50 bucks since they can put 2 or more in 1 box, correct?
let me know if this is true, maybe I can get my other 2nd Gen guys to buy a couple. please let me know if they can be drop shipped direct to me and how many they can fit in 1 box to get the freight down.
