Lowes Cruise 8/8/08

Another well attended cruise at the Lowes in Abingdon, Maryland! Many unphotographed (by me) cars came out, including a Nostalgia Comet that was completed the night before.

Thunderstorms passed all around us, but never dumped on us.

Thanks for the pics Rick! I took the Chevelle out for a spin to 83rd...

I left the camera home this time...and wished later that I had brought it. There were quite a few cars out there after the downpour he had in the late afternoon!

Since I'm new here and many of you don't know much about me.....

My 13 year old son comes with me to 95% of these cruises and walks with me when I'm out taking pics. In addition to shooting what I like, he will tell me what he wants pics of.

In past years, it has been cars. This year it is girls. Apparently he knows those 2 girls as they were all giggling at each other as we walked by. I asked if he knew them, but he was too embarrassed to answer me, so I left it alone.

Usually when I finish editing all of these pics and posting them, he sits with me to look at them.
