This is my last NOS dash pad. Still in original box from 1987. The inner core of each end is cracked from handling inside the box but will not be noticeable or affect fit or function when installed. Price is $2500. Pics below:

Tony,
Should the A/C version have the "rash" spot, or just the non-A/C version?

That is a great question. My opinion is 'not necessarily' since I assume the molds (and the wear on the mold grain pattern causing the 'rash') would have been unique. Unfortunately I have never owned or seen a NOS A/C dashpad.

I have an NOS a/c pad that doesnt have the flat spot. I always thought it was made before the flat spot started showing up. Seems like all the NOS ones have cracked ends.

I have an NOS A/C one on my car, and it does not have the rash. It was bought from a very trusted source, so I'm not doubting the seller, and I have NO complaints about the pad. I was just curious.

I guess, technically, it's no longer NOS as it is now in my car. http://www.yenko.net/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/smile.gif
