Congrats to Jim(Wheelhop)Hanke......

Yet another Post Chevelle found and coming to IL. Great color combo Olympic Gold with White Painted Top. Will look stunning when complete.

Car is currently at Cullums shop, where all the Post Chevelles get restored!

Albert,

Once you part with them Post Cars....it`s much more difficult the second time around http://www.yenko.net/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/tongue.gif I`ll find you one, if you really want one.

Dan,

It looks reasonably solid. Another 300 with AC, very cool. What engine is it going to get?

Keep us posted on the progress. Mine is stuffed away until the house is finished.

Phil,

I`m sure when this car was new...it was probably your twin, other than the lower paint. Jim can answer what kind of power plant he is going to stuff in this beauty.

I'm planning to do a "day 2" type car. With a 427, or 454, probably aluminum heads. I'll be on a tight budget with this one, not worried about numbers matching or date correct components. My wallet is still hurting from the last restoration, so I probably won't start on this one for a while.

And I am sure you'll have her ready for a Chevy Vettefest premier showing, right?

Congrats on another cool find.

Here's a sick Beaumont Post ad that popped up here this week..
Too much dough obviously but worse is how it's been goofed up and sadder yet is it looks like it may have been a decent car before this guy put his magic hands to it?.
Love how he calls it completely restored!. http://www.yenko.net/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/rolleyes.gif

Nice spoiler. Wonder how much 'Lift' it provides at speed! http://www.yenko.net/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/crazy.gif
