Nice car, assume at this price it is not a true L78 car? Also noticed the hood pins.
Good luck.

Yes this is not the original motor. The previous owner found and built a correct coded 396, to the 375 hp specs. The car is a real 138 SS coupe with a 4 speed, bench seat, and 4.11 geared 12 bolt. These are the correct paint and interior colors. It is an older lacquer repaint. The windshield still has its 1983 inspection sticker on it. It is a good solid car. I realize it is not a perfect car, but it is a straight, dependable, and enjoyable Chevelle. I’ll be as honest as possible about it. Please feel free to ask any additional questions. You may call or email me. The only reason I am selling it is because I purchased a Berger Camaro. Thanks for your time. I can email additional pics upon request. Thanks again.

Price Reduction: $38,000 obo
The 1982 inspection sticker shows only 51k miles, currently mileage is 55k. This is believed to be original, but can not authenticate it. Have owner history from about 25+ years back. Also, have receipts from mechanical restoration.

Pulled the Chevelle out this weekend for a cruise with the Belvedere. It's a great running solid Chevelle.

What's the story on the Mopar?

It is another car in our collection. It's a '63 Belvedere. It's been in our small town for sometime. The previous owner was a friend, and owned a restoration shop. He did a complete body-off. It's a really nice car that was done like a super stocker. Real blast to drive, and draws lots of attention.
