No Kim.. Only the Norwood built cars will have L78 on the tag. The LA cars have nothing so you need the build sheet or other signs of L78 such as tach, radiator, sway bar and etc.. Let me know if you need something..

Howie, ONLY the Norwood,OH built 1970 L-78, L-34 & Z-28 have said designation on the trim tag.

Los Angeles built L-78's only have build sheets, protecto-plates, window stickers and born with engines (stamped with VIN) to verify L-78......engines in most all L-78's are CKO

Look for one year only 6500Red7000Max Tach if Instrument equipped.

Why I'm asking a friend of mine just sold a 70. that he said he sold it on e-bay and he got 35,000.00 for it. He said the guy that bought it said it was a l-78 car. I looked at it when he first bought it and there was no l-78 on the tag but I can't remember if it was a l or n car.

Do you have the Ebay item # to look at? I don't see any that sold for $35K in the completed items area.
