A week from today, Sept 12, is one of the coolest events in the musclecar realm!!! The Pure Stock Drags at Stanton, MI will be taking place on Friday and Saturday. I have this one marked on the calender and I will do everything I can to be in attendance every year!!!! Copo Pete, Rob Clary in the Yellow Sub, and I will all be in attendance. Last year, 150 cars of every make were battling it out on the drag strip! A good time to be had by all! http://www.yenko.net/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/3gears.gif

Rusty,
He's got bias plys on it now and more gear. The last I heard, he's just about on your ET. Should be a great race! http://www.yenko.net/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/beers.gif
Dennis,
We were just moving cars around so he could get the Nova inside on the lift and it seemed like a pretty good opportunity for a neat photo. http://www.yenko.net/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/biggthumpup.gif

I should know, I sold him the Bias Plies!!! I was running 13.42 last weekend in St. Louis in 3000' of air. If we have the air and a decent track, I am looking to knock a hole in my PB!!! http://www.yenko.net/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/headbang.gif

You may need rain tires, forecast is very bad for a rainout.
Will be the final race for my Ramrod after 9 great years. Time to stop beating on it.
Tom's a great guy. We both ran F.A.S.T. at the York Reunion last year. He had his 64 SS. Think he broke a motor mount at Martin in June.

I was at the track all day on Friday, there was rain on and off all day, they had dried the track several times and as soon as the cars lined up the sky would open up and wet it down, so I left at 4.00pm, I don't know if they extended the track time later in the evening to get some runs in but it is going to rain all day today. still got to visit with some friends, but the 130 registered cars were at a standstill for the most part, we have had good luck with the weather until this year so it was bound to happen sooner or later,
