LOST 69-Z28

New user here--wondering if there's a national registry for stolen muscle cars? We had our 69 Z28 stolen a few years back and haven't had any luck with local police efforts.
Thanks.

Not that I am aware of, but, when items such as cars, boats, guns, etc, get stolen, there are supposed to be entered into the National Crime Information Center (NCIC) which keeps all the information about the item. My bet your car is overseas or garaged forever or something worse......parted or rebodied......or.........

Thats correct, your VIN for the Camaro would have been entered into the law enforcement computer network (NCIC) when the Police took the stolen report and will be stored there should the VIN be run or checked by a law enforcement agency. It will show up as a "hot" or a stolen vehicle. I know of no other registry for this info. You can't access this NCIC info. It has to be obtained or checked thru a law enforcement agency only and is very sensitive. Hope this helps.. Good luck...
