Like a bunch of you guys probably did too, I had the model kit and a few Hot Wheels Deoras when I was a kid..

Sorta reminds me of the 55 Chevy 4 door conversion to a 2 door by moving the pillar back and using doors off a 2 door sedan.

Al Davis still owns the real Deora; It was his father’s car and has been a family treasure for almost 40 years.
I talked to Al a few years back he told me it was at the Peterson Museum for the Hot Wheels Display. http://www.yenko.net/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/worship.gif

I was with them during the world of wheels shows, Not a dry eye in the house when he won best of show.
BTW, Did you know that the Deora won the Ridler Award...
