Was it ever possible to get a 1969 z/28 without the stripes? http://www.yenko.net/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/dunno.gif

Absolutely, a "- -" paint code could get you there.. For example, there is the famous ultra low mile survivor black non-striped RS Z that Coast 2 Coast has..

Thanks Darren I Started working on my z today getting it ready to go to my friends house for some paint work. I'm thinking about how far I'm going to take it. So far were doing the bottom of the car Subframe Suspension etc.

That Coast to Coast Z/28 sits really low in the front.

Original Z's did sit low for handling purposes- alot of them had the same springs in the front as 6 cyl cars with heavy duty springs.

The black Z sits low, but not much more than 6308s.
