Not mine, I always love when they put the P B T stamps on Nova's. This has more chalk than a 3rd grade math class

Got to love black cars....lot's of detailing issues and little stuff...but it looks pretty solid. Exterior trim is confusing...cowl tag says ( A 1 ) which would indicate only one exterior treatment....rocker molding is missing upper piece. I don't ever recall seeing this car before in my travels...perhaps others have. Shouldn't be to difficult for someone from the Jersey area to check it out in person.

So if it is a triple black car without a vinyl top, where is the third black? I do not remember a large hole in the core support on the left side of the radiator on other big block Novas. The alignment of the fan shroud upper bracket with the button screw on the shroud makes me wonder if the core support has been replaced. Could the core support be a replacement part for a much later A/C car? I thought they had a larger radiator opening than a regular small block car. With just 40k miles why did it need all that new detail? Besides that it is a beautiful car.

That core support thing is odd... I like the paint on the car, looks good...

I think the core support is from a 73-74 Nova with the heavy duty cooling option. Very nice Nova http://www.yenko.net/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/cool.gif

Tommy, I think you are correct about the rad support. I can't see a welded nut on the pas side but the angle of the pic might not show it.
I think Annie, and Helen had some nbrs from some of the hipo novas, and camaros. I wonder if this one shows up.
It would be interesting to visit with the original owner.

Annie does as does Howie I believe and I will have her take a look. There were lots of 68 paperwork but no so much of the 69. You never know though.

That core support looks like a reproduction. The larger hole on the driver side is for AC hoses. The wider opening would also be correct for a 73-74 with heavy-duty cooling system and AC.

I am trying to think where I heard of that Badbowties before. Jackson, NJ. is not far from Futureclassics in Lakewood. Verne Frantz and a few other members don't not live far from there I believe. Interesting car and a Gibb car none the less. http://www.yenko.net/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/dunno.gif
