The engine was rebuilt using a new clay smith cam, new J&E pistons and has been balanced with the correct damper , crank and six pack rods. The factory radiator (2998956) was recored. The entire exhaust is brand new and is a correct reproduction with one or two NOS resonators.

Hi Sam,
I have a 64 Belvedere,it's white and has been rotisserie restored. It is also an original Big block(361) 4 speed car. I have plans to put a 426 Ray Barton Hemi in it if all goes well.

I did not know they ran the 361's in the 1964 time frame. My buddy from HS had a 1961 361 if I remember correctly. Actually ran pretty good. Bring it to Vargo! http://www.yenko.net/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/3gears.gif

Awesome Belvedere. My dad's commuter car back in the early 60's was a 64 Belvedere 4 door. It was the beige metallic color with the push button trans. I always loved the front end and grill on those cars. Brings back great memories. During the same time span my grandparents had a 64 Dodge, white with red interior with the crinkly, clear, plastic seat covers. I still have the summer, waffle-pattern, burn scars from those seats. (bad memories http://www.yenko.net/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/grin.gif)
Good luck with the sale and the new project!

I can't beleive you can't get 85k for this car, It looks perfect, and you could never find a V code Cuda, collect the high dollar missing parts and restore it to this level for anywhere near $85k, if it was 2-3 years ago it would be long gone at way above $85k. Good luck with the sale

Hey Rich, I guess those people that are paying $300,000 or more for anything other than an average house have not been watching TV or reading the paper lately. Maybe they are all Oil Barrons or ex CEO's of companies they destroyed and ran off with the money. http://www.yenko.net/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/eek.gif
