As you know, we are really excited about the 68-70 High Performance Nova Showcase we are planning for the November 22-23 Chevy Vettefest show.
In my quest to continue to "raise the bar", I need some help.
I have confirmed the following people for participation in this very special Showcase display;
Helen Gibb/68 Gibb Nova
Annie Hartweg/68 Gibb Nova
Tom Clary/69 Yenko/SC Nova
Ken Tibor/70 Nova SS L78
Rick Thayer/68 Gibb Nova
Bbbenny/69 SS L78
Grady Burch/69 SS L78
Tom W./70 SS L78
Mark Hassett/70 Yenko Duece
Tommy K./68 Gibb Nova
As you can see, we are missing information/confirmation for many of the people who are listed as wanting to participate. I know I talked to some of you at SCR, but Vicki and I need your addresses and other info. Those are:
Joe Swezey/69 Dana SS
Brian H./69 Yenko SS
Fran R./69 SS L78
Marlin/70 Yenko Deuce
Dave Frendel/70 SS L89
Schoeny/70 Yenko Deuce
Allen Cardo/70 SS 396
Rich R./70 SS L78
Chris Teed/68 SS 396.
I am hoping all listed are able to be a part of this. We want to be sure that all participants get all the "perks" of being part of the showcase, (VIP passes, first-in/front of line entry/VIP ID tags/Showcase Certificates etc) and especially, all of the appropriate maps and information that make this an easy and fun weekend. I also need to be fully prepared with enough qualified Judges for anyone wanting to have your Nova Judged.
If you can not make it and you are on the list, please let me know. If you aren't on the list but have a suitable Nova for consideration, let me know that also.
I don't mean to be harsh, but I need to have ALL of the information so that we can take good care of ALL participants...
Please contact me at
[email protected] or call me here at the office; (248) 373-1700 or cell (586) 549-5291.
The show will be completely FULL again and the quality of entrants is absolutely amazing.

My issue is that I don't own any sort of trailer at all, and don't know anyone around here who has an enclosed trailer.
I also don't want to drive it 5+ hours up there (I would've for years up until just having it restored by the Ken and his fine crew). I like it too much to want to tackle the Chicago freeways with it!

Allen, you could try renting an enclosed trailer....

I've checked.... I couldn't find any sources for this in southeastern Indiana, southwestern Ohio, or northern Kentucky.

Hey Rob, If you don't bring that L78 Survivor nova to the show BBBenny and I with about 5 other people will be over to get it. And if there is snow on the ground I will have GTO-DONS studded RWL Goodyear snow tires to mount on the back! Then the old girl won't get stuck in her first drive thru the snow drifts of Chicago http://www.yenko.net/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/haha.gif!

Have you had that car long? I seem to remember there being one for sale a while ago that was like that. Somebody wake up Marlin, and tell him he needs it for Amanda. http://www.yenko.net/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/headbang.gif
